MTNL MT 882 (RT V 2.5)- not connecting to network
I noticed that there were several other settings in the PPPoE section of your old config - I have created a fix file (see attached) which can add these settings to your current config (using the Config Fixer)
Alternatively, you may be able to get away with using the Config Fixer to 'fix' your backup config with the rt_20070129.fix file.

If you don't have the zlib.dll file on your system, you can download it from HERERocky5 wrote:thankyou for providing the fix file.
While attempting to fix the config.bin file I am getting the following error:-
"Error 53: File not found: zlib.dll"

Re: MTNL MT 882 (RT V 2.5)- not connecting to network
hi , i am a newbie to this forum and also firmware issues. my internet line drop every few seconds and my ISP said it is because of my Huawei SmartAX MT882a ADSL modem. it could be faulty or outsated firmware. therefore, i downloaded the latest firmware from huawei.in website, a ras file without any extension, and upgrade the modem using web interface. it showed success on the web browser but after rebooting the modem , i found the modem has no response. only the power light is solid green, no ADSL and LAN light (usually solid green). i tried every possible way but unable to connect to its bootloader. it would be highly appreciated if you please help me to fix this modem. Please note, i dont have the original firmware or backup.
i will never play with modem for sure, please fix my brand new modem.
