My current router state:

I wouldn't worry about the switch. The problem with the 604Ts is that most of them do not like being upgraded via the web interface. So you would probably need ciclamab or the pctool v2.1.

Currently my_ipadress is 192.168.1.199. Why?
===============
/proc/ticfg/env
memsize 0x01000000
flashsize 0x00400000
modetty0 38400,n,8,1,hw
modetty1 38400,n,8,1,hw
bootserport tty0
cpufrequency 150000000
sysfrequency 125000000
bootloaderVersion 0.22.02
ProductID AR7WRD
HWRevision Unknown
SerialNumber none
my_ipaddress 192.168.1.199
......
===============
Why is it so?

Is it OK to set it to 192.168.1.1?

If you don't know the answer, then I doubt that anyone else can answer that question.

It should be okay to set it to 192.168.1.1.

OK, 192.168.1.199 was a built in value for my original firmaware. I have set it to 192.168.1.1...

But, I've got an error while flashing a firmware.
I use tiupgrade tool to flash it in "corruption mode" but it fails with
Script error: EAccessViolation...

I can't get to web interface wnymore, even whe I set old env values for mtds.

Adam is alive and I could connect there succesfully with Adam2app. When I'm trying to run the same script with this app It get me such output:

....
200 SETENV command successful
failed 'put default_RT_config.bin mtd3'
....
Probaly that is why tiupgrade failes, it can't upload a file too...

so it does not upload configs and firmaware... Why? Is it possible because of I'm runnig it on vista?

Seems like that was a Vista issue.
I've tried to do the same on XP machine at work and it worked perfectly.
SO AVOID VISTA =)

Now I have RT firmware inside. I have configured it at work and goiny to check at hope. Hopefully I\ll update this thrred from home via my updated G604T.

Thanks.

Seems to be OK.

PPPoE connection - Established.
Wireless - OK.
Ethernet - OK.

It works perfectly... Digging in Advanced setup right now.

These mtd values should be fine:
mtd0 0x90094000,0x903f0000
mtd1 0x90010090,0x90094000
mtd3 0x903f0000,0x90400000
mtd4 0x90010000,0x903f0000
Yes, you should upload the config file.

Hi all,

Did the documented routine to upgrade to 2.6 from a MY firmware of G604T. Bricked it. LOL.

I did ran the RUC against my router, but I didn't back up any firmware for it. Can we use PC-tools to update directly to the router? As I understand it, this is the routine.

1. Power down router
2. Run PC-Tools
3. Click Detect IP Address
4. Power up router
5. Set from SDRAM to Flash
6. Choose the Single-A firmware on Firmware
7. Click Download
8. Wait. :)
9. Finish
10. Factory reset router

I am stuck at 8, where the GUI for PC-Tools (2.3) hangs at 50% forever. Killed the process, and tried again a few times, still the same.

I have nothing (more) to lose. Can someone provide a way to debrick this?

You should not use pctool 2.3 for an Adam2 router. You should use pctool 2.1.
