can router tech be installed on TD-8840

plz help me i like the cool features of router tech firmware..the original router software is too noob..so can i change? :D

Run the Router Upgrade Checker (RUC).

If the RUC can't run successfully, that is a good indication that the router is not supported.

I doubt it. If it is not supported now, it will be because the router is not an AR7 router. We only support AR7 devices.

Yes, we have given those old devices a long lease of life with our firmwares, but wireless G is getting long in the tooth now.

TBH, I don't really see the point of buying any different kind of router, especially as wireless G is more than sufficient for my needs (including live streaming). I have several 1350A routers all over my house (each having been bought for next to nothing on ebay), all having the same SSID, and all connected via WDS to the same WDS root. I therefore have the same connection strength wherever I am, inside or outside, all for a few quid and a GPL firmware. Long live AR7!
