Calculating Environment WLAN_ values

Post by rogfanther » Sun Mar 22, 2009 10:25 pm

Hi,

My shop fixes routers and network equipment, and we have a reasonable number of ar7-based with corrupt bootloader environment coming in.

I know we could upload the base values through pctool, then get the TNETWId from the logs, then run WEB to create the wireless part, then upload this again with pctool.

But this has proved troublesome, because the base values also would need to be edited each time with the correct MAC.

So I´m trying to build a tool to automate all of this, but I don´t know how Neo´s tool calculates that WLAN_* values. What is the documentation about it, or could someone share some code / explanation about it ?

Neo, if this is something that can be publicly released, could you please help me ? Of course, I will post the final tool / scripts here, if you think it can be useful.

Thanks.
