Aztech 600EW firmware

Post by yas216 » Sun Jan 24, 2010 12:12 am

I have had this modem sitting in a cupboard for a couple of years but after problems with a gigaset SIP setup on my current siemens SL2-141 modem maybe I can get the aztech to be a little more stable with your firmware than the siemens . The first step would seem to be to get the firmware upgraded which I am having difficulty finding, all links appear to be non functioning or can I attempt an upgrade using the PC tool circumventing the need for a later firmware for an upgrade through the web interface? (is that the only reason for the pre upgrade firmware requirement?) Will wireless still work after changing to router tech fimware? Incidentally what is the best router (that is easily available) to upgrade to routertech firmware?

Any help would be very much appreciated
