Hellow,
i successfully upgrade from 2.93 to 2.94 on my roper router

i am trying to disable the http server from auto-loading on startup with the command from FAQ
Disable the http server from being loaded (with "setenv http_port=none && /sbin/reboot")
but it doesn't work, on reboot it still starts
what am i doing wrong?

thank you

Following instructions with embedded errors ;) The syntax for setenv in the example is wrong.

Code: Select all

setenv http_port none && /sbin/reboot

Hello,

I have upgrade a adsl2mue from 2.93 to 2.94 (with 4Mb) and the router works fine.
I just have the feeling that the MTU parameter is more sensitive.
With 2.93 MTU was 1500 (default) and IP from ISP is up quickly.
With 2.94 MTU = 1500 a lot of time to have IP from ISP, then MTU =1372 IP come up immediatly....

Thanks for this release.

you using pppoe or pppoa?

pppoe uses an extra 8 bytes of packet header so 1500 would bug out and you'd actually run 1492

did you use the enforce option?

HI,

I'm in PPPOA and PPPOE is not working (no IP).
Sorry i'm not a expert , what is the enforce option?
Perhaps the trouble come from my poor line
Here's the spec of the line
Ds Rate (Kbps) 1210
Us Rate (Kbps) 325
DS Margin 15
US Margin 26
DS Line Attenuation 58
US Line Attenuation 36
Trained Modulation ADSL_G.dmt.bis
LOS Errors 0
Peak Cell Rate 766 cells per sec
CRC Rx Fast 0
CRC Tx Fast 0
CRC Rx Interleaved 83
CRC Tx Interleaved 0
Path Mode Interleaved

Regards.

enforce is pppoe, pppoa is fine on it's own. i know for my confige 1500 is unstable evein pppoa, i run 1492 in pppoa as well and that works better

Just downloaded routertech-ar7rd-adam2-1port-firmware-20100818 for my solwise SAR600 modem. After upgrading the firmware still says 2.93! the image file i used is supposed to be RouterTech_3.6.0D_20100818_2.94_AR7RD-1Port_Adam2_firmware.upgrade

I presume someone has just renamed the old file and that there is a problem with this specific image file? ie. it is not the new one?

I think I've found a weird little bug/annoyance in 2.94 that wasn't there in 2.92 or any previous version. (I skipped 2.93.)

It's not possible to add LAN Clients to the settings if the DHCP Server is disabled. I don't use the DHCP server as I have my own on the network, but I still need to be able to add LAN Clients so that I can setup Port Forwarding and a DMZ.

If I enable the DHCP server I can add LAN Clients, then I can disable the DHCP server again and setup Port Forwarding as usual.

Upgraded my DSL-G604T/US v.A1 with replaced ADAM to PSP bootloader from Routertech 2.93 to 2.94 via web interface with no problems.

A little, insignificant bug in 1-PORT ADAM2: in Gateway Informations it shows "ps - a argument non allowed" that is true, even on telnet if I run "ps -a" it tells me that -a is not allowed... maybe a discrepancy between the code and the version of ps

Sorry, but I can't see what you're referring to. Can you post the whole output?
