Information for Swedes (and other interested aswell)

I want to inform all you swedes out there that the ADSL2+modem/router that Clas Ohlsson sells is a ASW800 and can be upgraded with the routertech firmware (which I strongly strongly advice).

The cardboardbox I got the modem in says that it is a Danish compay Tekcomm (http://www.tekcomm.dk/) that produced it, but that company has absolutely no clue whatsoever about anything. They don't answer on techsupport and they don't have any new firmwares available either.

Before I had problems with constant resync:s and router hangings which was caused by my ip_conntrack-table getting full.

So, if you are a Swede and bought your modem at Clas Ohlsson and it said Tekcomm on the box and you on the modem you have a little, little sticker which says "MODEL NO. ASW800" - you are in luck and can upgrade the routertech.

Also, I'm using the ISP Bahnhof. They use VPI: 8, VCI: 35

Regards,
