RIP dynamic routing configuration - can't inject routes

Post by rokafeller » Tue Apr 28, 2015 1:59 am

Hi all,
I'm trying to make a G624t with RT 2.97 exchange routes dinamically with another device via RIP. After flagging RIP active in the GUI (which I see it triggers /usr/sbin/routed -d -g -v 2), I can see on wireshark that some RIP signalling is actually sent out.
Depending on what's on the other side, I can eventually accept those signalled routes, so outbound is pretty ok.
what I can't make work is updating local routing table from other RIP signalled routes. Unfortunately this routed executable doesn't have any help for the options and doesn't seem to be documented anywhere.

anyone knows how to make RT 2.97 RIP implementation learn external routes from RIP and inject them into routing table?

thanks
g.
Running D-Link DSL-G624T, PSP bootloader in place of the original Adam2, RouterTech Firmware v2.97. OpenVPN and port knocking services activated.
