Spot The Wally !

Post by Shotokan101 » Mon May 05, 2008 12:39 pm

Hi folks,

Some of you may have guessed from my forum username that I'm "into" karate so as I've recently been prompted to post some stuff on a Martial Arts website I frequent I thought I'd give some of you an opportunity to see me prancing about in my "Angry White Pyjamas"

FWIW - if you can be bothered to watch the vids you should check out the Kata Video - Bassai Sho link first as that will at least give you a fighting chance to identify me in the other vids....
A very nice Lady whom I know from another MA forum who practices Tae-Kwon-Do recently very kindly allowed me to view her Sandan/3rd Dan TKD Grading videos from Youtube - which I enjoyed immensely.

This finally gave me the courage/motivated me to finally attempt to edit and publish a couple of Video Clips that Lloydie captured at my Sandan Grading last year in Edinburgh - "Warts and All".

A couple of the clips were taken without Zoom active so in an attempt to make the "action" (LOL) clearer (and in some cases embarrassingly so) I have attempted to crop and resize a couple of the clips.

This has had two main effects - one that am a bit more anonymous in the clips in question but hopefully (not?) stil identifiable - and the other the frame is filled a bit better to enhance youre "enjoyment" (?amusement)

So without further ado - see below if interested......

very impressive, you can hardly hear the hoover noises on those recordings
He ached all over. It wasn't just that his brain was writing cheques that his body couldn't cash. It had gone beyond that. Now his feet were borrowing money that his legs hadn't got, and his back muscles were looking for loose change under the sofa cushions.
