If you want to get your hands dirty, you may wish to try editing the config.xml manually, or try the undcoumented cm_cli_* command interface. Look in /usr/local/sbin for examples.

PPPoE with VCMux is a very rare combination - all of the ISPs listed here pages.php?page=43 have PPPoE with LLC. Are you absolutely sure you need VCMux? If you want to reduce lag/latency for online games there are other things to try such as tweaking your connection, asking your ISP to remove interleaving etc.
