Installation problems

Talk about anything you like here: as long as it's technical, doesn't fit into the other categories and is within the rules. Questions and discussions about operating systems, programming, websites, hosting, ADSL etc. are particularly welcome here.

Installation problems

Post by eMuNiX » Wed Jul 23, 2008 2:19 pm

I'm trying to install OpenCASCADE on a Windows machine, I'd like to do some FEA work but we can't afford ANSYS. Installed the program no problem but it has some dependecies that I can't get to install. I have C++, QT, Tcl/Tk and Java installed but I can't get Tix to compile and I don't know if FLTK installed, if only Tix and FLTK had executables. At the rate this is going I will probably skip this idea and simply install CAElinux.
