is it possible to tweak the DSL_FEATURE_CNTL bits which control various optimizations in the firmware manually in a user friendly way rather than going into telnet and rebooting the router each time ?
maybe a hidden admin page can be constructed to pass the settings to the DSP in case the tweaks are dangerous

There are some things you can do directly, but those env vars only apply when the driver starts, so a reboot is usually necessary.
The routerstatslogger
viewtopic.php?t=1501 is a PC tool which has a friendlier interface to construct the env vars, and has a few more tweak descriptions for the later atm/dsp versions.
