Classic symptoms of router running out of memory and killing non-essential services. I suspect you may have started multiple copies of darkstat?
I've had the exact same problem. Just disable UPnP and you will be back on track. Now I have 7-day-uptime and still holding, full access to 192.168.1.1
Miniupnpd client seems somewhat buggy (according to Google).
miniupnpd is a upnp server daemon, under active development - what bugs are you referring to? How can you have 7 day uptime after trying a firmware released 4 days ago?

really should enable cron, and enable memory optimisation every hour or two.

so you may want to try pppoa if you aren't already
Well i tried that however pppoa is not supported by any ISP in my country which is a stupid decision. Everything seems good so far with new pppd, my old pppd version was 2.0, i checked RT's it's newer. My ppp is up for 28 hours, before switch to RT fw it was stuck 3 times in 24 hours. So it might solve my problem, we'll see..

That's only because the RUC has not yet been updated to know about v2.95.
typhoon wrote:I made my upgrade from Web GUI again and suddenly WPA2 problem is just gone.
Hmm ... there shouldn't really be any difference from v2.94 in that regard. So it's probably my bad in 2.49, cause i have a very complex pass-phrase sometimes i cannot write it down correctly.
typhoon wrote:Then i move to another challenge, which is WDS connection with my BRCM chipped router. I gotta admit after some smooth changes it's working properly.
Well, you're the first person I know who has got WDS working. Congratulations! :playguitar: Perhaps you might want to write a "How To" on how to get WDS working? Yes, i would like to do that, i need to take all the screenshots and stuff, i will be ready this weekend.
typhoon wrote:Well all this journey took my 3-4 hours nad i'm quite happy with my new features and i got a lot of things to test. But first i need to be sure that my pppd problem is solved cause this was the main reason to switch to a open firmware. It takes time to observe and see if it's gone or not.
If it doesn't, then you could always enable check-sync.

what about the upload problem I found using chrome? Was it a random error, or is there actually a problem with that browser?
Hey, Chrome is very buggy with RT web GUI, i encounter with this problem with my previous firmware which original TI fw, the problem is, sometimes it doesn't fill, or check the boxes cause of that some buttons doesn't work. There is a "get" time out is going on with Chorme. I don't like IE but it works properly even for firmware upgrade. It's weird that FF works properly but not Chrome.

First of all, edit that file, and remove all personal/sensitive information.
logos2000 wrote:Strange is "bad password attempt for 'root' from 212.119.74.61:42227" etc. is this hack from net?
Try searching Google for "212.119.74.61". Are you sure that your antivirus and anti-malware programs are up-to-date? A remote hacker should not be able to attempt so many logins to your router, unless you have opened some ports that you should not have opened, or your PC is compromised, or your wireless encryption has been broken.

And what's with wbif0 and gigabytes of data transfer on every possible interface? All within 6 hours?

Ok. But I can see information that I would not want the whole world to know. If you're happy with all that is there, then that's fine.
logos2000 wrote:Antyvirus, system (windows7) is have actuall.
Sorry, but I don't know what this means.
logos2000 wrote:Transfer is big becouse P2P is working
That is probably the cause of your problem (possibly too many p2p connections).

Please read this: firmware-faq/#unstable
(see the last bullet point).

I flashed my new PLUSCOM AWR-7200 modem with the routertech-ar7wrd-1350A-pspboot-firmware-20110103.zip as suggested from the RUC.

I can connect to the internet, but the wireless is not working.
Here are the system diagnostics and a screenshot of RUC.

Thanks in advance for any help
