Belkin router as range extender

Post by cblong812 » Fri Jul 18, 2014 4:04 am

Hi, I am new here and have a question. I have an extra belkin router (n300, f9k1002v1) and I want to use it as a range extender for my current network. This means I do not want to have to run a wire from the current router to this router. As far as I see there is no third-party firmware that I can use and the current firmware doesn't support wireless bridging. Does anyone have any ideas of how this can be accomplished or does anyone know of any third party firmware that would work with my router?

Thanks,
