Unable to cast since upgrade to hub 3.0

Unable to cast since upgrade to hub 3.0

Hi. I changed from superhub to hub 3.0 a few days ago. Ever since, functions from my phone to smart tv have gone. I could cast from YouTube app to tv, but now the icon is gone. I could cast from my videos on gallery, but again, the option has gone.
Prob2: WiFi printer can't pair with hub 3.0, tried eod button etc. First router I've had a problem with, so frustrating!...

Is that UK VirginMedia ISP? If so what version firmware in the SH3, early versions did not have working upnp which may explain the problems?

Yes it is. But I just upgraded from 2 year old super hub to latest hub 3.0! Could you explain what you said please...

I suggest you post for help on https://community.virginmedia.com/ I only use the SH3 in modem mode with a separate router - in 'router mode' you cannot even change the SH3 LAN IP address, some users have trial firmware which apparently fixes a number of bugs in the usual version, there may be workarounds?
