It is designed to be run by new owners who wish to get their routers connected to the Internet with the minimum of hassle. Ideally it should be used with RouterTech firmwares - it cannot be guaranteed to work with other firmwares.
If you have already set up your router and are just feeling curious, you may get better results if you reset your router before trying the software
